I was born in Storm Lake, Iowa in 1961 and started playing guitar in the mid-70's with my friends. We took a few lessons but were mostly self-taught. We did a lot of loose loose jamming on funk, rock, blues and jazz. Just making racket, but it prepared me to put things together when people asked for complete songs. Fas forward 43 years or so and I'm still in the basement making up free form jams
